Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 7, 2026

QuiVend is operated by Lawrence Suzara, doing business as QuiVend. This Privacy Policy explains how QuiVend handles information when you use our mobile app, website, and related services.

For questions about this Privacy Policy, you can contact us at: bonjour@quivendapp.com

1. What QuiVend Is

QuiVend is an inventory and sales logging app for artists, makers, convention vendors, merch sellers, pop-up sellers, and small event vendors.

QuiVend helps you track products, manage inventory, create bundles, log sales, view event reports, and estimate profit. With a QuiVend Cloud subscription, QuiVend can also back up your booth to the cloud, keep it in sync across your devices, and let helpers sell alongside you through Companion Mode.

QuiVend is not a payment processor. Payments happen outside QuiVend through cash, card readers, bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, or other external payment methods.

2. Summary

QuiVend is designed to be local-first. This means your core vending data is stored on your device so the app can continue working even without an internet connection. That stays true on every plan, including QuiVend Cloud.

The app may also use internet-based services for ads, app store purchases, support, and the optional QuiVend Cloud features described below.

In simple terms:

3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

QuiVend stores the following information locally on your device:

This information is used to make the app work, including inventory tracking, checkout logging, order history, and reporting.

4. Product Images, Camera, and Photo Library

QuiVend may ask for access to your camera or photo library when you choose to add product images.

QuiVend uses camera or photo library access only for product image features. Selected images are copied into QuiVend’s app-local storage so they remain available inside the app.

QuiVend does not use your camera or photo library to access unrelated photos, scan your gallery, identify people, or upload photos beyond the product, logo, and wallpaper images you deliberately add. If you use QuiVend Cloud, the images you added are included in your cloud backup as described below.

5. Backups and Restores

QuiVend may allow you to create local backup files of your app data.

A backup file may include:

Backup files are created for your convenience so you can restore your data if needed.

If you save, move, upload, email, or share a backup file outside QuiVend, you are responsible for where that file goes and who can access it. Backup files may contain business information such as sales history, product prices, product costs, event names, and product photos.

6. QuiVend Cloud Accounts and Sign-In

QuiVend Cloud is the optional subscription tier that adds online features. It is the only part of QuiVend that uses an account. You can use everything else in the app without ever signing in.

You can sign in with:

When you create an account, we store:

If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address from them. We do not receive your Apple or Google password, contacts, or other account data.

Sign-in code emails are delivered through an email delivery provider. Sign-in requests are also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps keep automated abuse out. Turnstile may process technical information about your device and connection to decide whether a request looks human. Most of the time you will never notice it.

7. Cloud Sync and Cloud Backup

With an active QuiVend Cloud subscription, the booth data described in Section 3, including product images and your custom logo and wallpaper if you set them, is copied to our servers. This is what lets your booth follow you to a new phone, stay in sync across your devices, and survive a lost or broken device.

Cloud data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, on servers located in the United States. Data is encrypted in transit. Your data is stored under your account and is not visible to other QuiVend users, with the one exception of Companion Mode sharing described below.

Sync is a feature of the subscription, not a requirement of the app. If you are offline, or your subscription ends, the app keeps working with the data on your device.

8. Companion Mode

Companion Mode lets a helper (a friend, partner, or booth buddy) sell from your catalog on their own phone during an event you run. It is a QuiVend Cloud feature and it is always something you deliberately turn on, per event, with a passkey you hand to your helper.

When a helper joins your event:

If you are the helper: the catalog on your phone belongs to the booth owner who invited you. The sales you log during the event are shared with that owner as part of their booth records.

9. Ads

QuiVend Lite, the free version of the app, is ad-supported. QuiVend Pro and QuiVend Cloud remove ads.

Ads help keep QuiVend available for starter vendors who want to use the app for free.

Ads may be provided by third-party advertising services. These services may receive or use certain information from your device to deliver, measure, limit, or improve ads. This may include information such as device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location inferred by the ad provider, app activity related to ad delivery, and technical information about your device or app session.

The exact information collected or used may depend on your device settings, app store settings, consent choices, region, and the ad provider’s own policies.

QuiVend does not sell your inventory, product, order, event, or sales report data to advertisers.

10. Purchases and Subscriptions

QuiVend offers paid features two ways: QuiVend Pro, a one-time in-app purchase, and QuiVend Cloud, an auto-renewing subscription available monthly or yearly.

Purchases are processed through the relevant app store purchase system, such as Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchase. QuiVend does not directly collect or store your full payment card details.

We use RevenueCat, a purchase management service, to verify purchases and keep your paid access working across your devices. When you purchase, subscribe, or restore, RevenueCat and QuiVend may process limited purchase-related information, such as product identifier, purchase date, purchase status, renewal and expiration dates, transaction confirmation data, and entitlement status. For QuiVend Cloud, your subscription status is also stored with your account so our servers know your sync access is active.

We use this information to:

Billing, refunds, payment methods, cancellation, and purchase records are managed by the app store where you made the purchase.

11. Information You Provide When Contacting Us

If you contact us for support, feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, we may receive the information you choose to provide, such as:

We use this information to respond to you, investigate issues, improve QuiVend, and provide support.

Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary for support.

12. Website Information

When you visit the QuiVend website, basic technical information may be processed by hosting, security, or analytics systems used to operate the website. This may include information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate region, referring page, and technical logs.

This information is used to keep the website available, secure, and useful.

If the website uses forms, such as a contact form or feedback form, we collect the information you submit through those forms.

13. How We Use Information

We use information to:

14. How We Share Information

We may share or process information with service providers that help us operate QuiVend, such as:

These services process information only as needed to provide their services.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of QuiVend, users, or others.

We do not sell your inventory, product, order, event, or sales report data. Not to advertisers, not to anyone.

15. Offline Use

QuiVend is designed so core features can work without an internet connection, on every plan. We call this the Offline Guarantee: your booth keeps working regardless of connection or sign-in state.

You can use the app offline for many actions, such as managing inventory, logging sales, processing orders, viewing local reports, and accessing local data.

Some features may require internet access, including:

If you sell offline, your sales are saved on your device and sync catches up the next time you are connected.

16. Data Deletion

Because QuiVend is local-first, most app data is stored on your device.

You can delete local data through the app’s data management features, such as deleting products, deleting events, deleting orders where supported, deleting backups, or using the “Delete All Data” feature if available.

If you use QuiVend Cloud, you can delete your account and its cloud data directly in the app (Settings, Your Plan, Delete Account). Deleting your account removes your account and the booth data stored on our servers. The data on your phone stays on your phone.

Deleting the app from your device may also remove local app data, depending on your device and operating system behavior.

If you contact us for support and want us to delete support messages or files you sent to us, you can email us at bonjour@quivendapp.com.

We cannot delete local data that remains only on your device unless you delete it yourself through the app or your device settings.

17. Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, restore from another backup, or use an app feature that removes it.

Cloud data is kept for as long as your QuiVend Cloud subscription is active. If your subscription ends, we keep your cloud data for 90 days so you can pick up right where you left off if you resubscribe. After 90 days without an active subscription, your cloud data is deleted from our servers. We will remind you before that happens. Your local data is never touched by this; whatever is on your phone stays on your phone.

Support emails, feedback messages, and website form submissions may be retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide support, improve the app, maintain records, or comply with legal obligations.

Purchase records may be retained by app stores and purchase providers according to their own policies.

18. Children’s Privacy

QuiVend is intended for vendors, creators, and small business users. It is not directed to children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at bonjour@quivendapp.com so we can review and take appropriate action.

19. International Users

QuiVend may be used by vendors in different countries. Your information may be processed in the country where you live and in other countries where our service providers operate. QuiVend Cloud data is stored on servers in the United States.

Privacy laws may vary depending on your location.

20. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information we handle. Cloud data is encrypted in transit, access to your cloud data requires your account, and sign-in is protected against automated abuse.

However, no app, device, storage system, backup file, or internet service is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, app data, backup files, sign-in email account, and Companion Mode passkeys safe.

We recommend using device security features such as passcodes, biometrics, secure backups, and trusted storage locations.

21. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the app or on the website.

Your continued use of QuiVend after an updated Privacy Policy becomes available means you accept the updated policy.
