Quick Help
Before reaching out, here are a few common things to know.
QuiVend Does Not Process Payments
QuiVend is an inventory and sales logging app. It does not process payments.
You can use QuiVend to create a cart, mark an order as sold, deduct inventory, and track sales reports. Actual payment happens outside the app through cash, card readers, bank transfers, PayPal, Venmo, or other external payment methods.
Always confirm payment before tapping Mark as Sold.
Using QuiVend Offline
QuiVend is designed to work even without an internet connection.
You can use core features offline, including:
- Managing products
- Viewing inventory
- Creating and selecting events
- Processing orders
- Marking items as sold
- Deducting inventory
- Viewing local order history
- Viewing local reports
- Creating local backups
Some features may need internet access, including:
- Loading ads
- Verifying subscriptions
- Restoring purchases
- Visiting support or legal pages
- Sending feedback or support requests
Product Images
QuiVend may ask for camera or photo library access when you choose to add product images.
Selected images are copied into QuiVend’s local app storage so they stay available inside the app. If you delete the original image from your photo gallery, the copied image inside QuiVend should still remain available unless you delete it from the app or delete app data.
Backups and Restores
QuiVend can create local backups of your app data.
A backup may include:
- Products
- Categories and subcategories
- Product quantities
- Prices and costs
- Product images, if included
- Bundles
- Events
- Orders
- Reports
- App settings
Please store backup files somewhere safe. If you share, upload, or email a backup file, remember that it may contain business information such as sales history, prices, costs, event names, and product photos.
Before restoring a backup, we recommend creating a fresh backup of your current data.
Subscriptions
QuiVend may offer monthly or annual subscription plans.
Subscriptions are managed through the app store where you downloaded QuiVend, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
If you need to cancel, renew, or manage your subscription, please use your app store account settings.
Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
If you subscribed but premium features are not showing, try:
- Check that you are using the same app store account used for purchase.
- Connect to the internet.
- Open QuiVend.
- Use the Restore Purchase option, if available.
- Restart the app.
If the issue continues, contact us at bonjour@quivendapp.com.
Ads
The free version of QuiVend may include ads.
Ads help keep QuiVend available for starter vendors who want to use the app for free. Paid subscription plans may remove ads.
If an ad appears broken, inappropriate, or disruptive, please contact us with details.
Reporting a Bug
If you find a bug, email us at: bonjour@quivendapp.com
Please include as much of the following as you can:
- What you were trying to do
- What happened instead
- Steps to reproduce the issue
- Your device model
- Your Android or iOS version
- Your QuiVend app version
- Screenshots or screen recordings, if helpful
Example:
“I was creating a bundle. After selecting three sticker products and setting the bundle price, the Save button did not work.”
The more specific the report, the faster we can understand and fix it.
Requesting a Feature
Have an idea that would make QuiVend better for your booth?
Send feature requests to: bonjour@quivendapp.com
Helpful feature requests usually include:
- What problem you are trying to solve
- How you currently handle it
- Why it would help during a real vending event
- Whether it is a must-have or nice-to-have for you
We can’t promise every feature will be built, but vendor feedback helps shape QuiVend’s roadmap.
Data or Backup Help
If you need help with your data or backups, contact us at: bonjour@quivendapp.com
Please do not send backup files unless we specifically ask for them to investigate your issue. Backup files may contain product, sales, event, cost, price, report, and image data.
If you do send a backup file for support, only send files you are comfortable sharing with us.
Deleting Your Data
Most QuiVend data is stored locally on your device.
You can delete local data through QuiVend’s in-app data management tools, where available, or through your device’s app settings.
If you delete all app data or uninstall QuiVend, your local inventory, sales, events, reports, product images, and backups stored inside the app may be deleted depending on your device behavior.
Please create a backup before deleting data if you want to keep a copy.
